MISHAWAKA - Marjorie Poklinkowski, 92, passed away Friday, September 23, 2016, in Caring Junction. Marjorie was born September 12, 1924, in South Bend, to the late Stanley and Lottie (Walinski) Zebrowski. On October 23, 1943, Marjorie married Benedict Poklinkowski, who preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her grandson, Todd Poklinkowski. Survivors of Marjorie include her son, Ben Poklinkowski, and daughter, Judith (Mark) Kubacki; grandchildren, Kallie (CJ) Fitzpatrick, Ryan Kubacki & Marc Poklinkowski; great-granddaughters, Madison & Mackenzie; a sister, Jeri Zebrowski. Marjorie was known for being an excellent seamstress, working for various businesses including the Francis Shop, downtown South Bend. She enjoyed sewing, reading and traveling with her husband and friends. Marjorie loved her family and spending time with them, especially while traveling. Her favorite trips were a cruise to Alaska with her daughter and a trip to Hawaii with her grandchildren. The family would like to thank Caring Junction for the exceptional care and kindness given to Marjorie for the past 2 years. Visitation for Marjorie is 9:30 am to 11:00 am with a Funeral Ceremony at 11:00 am, Tuesday, September 27, 2016, in ST. JOSEPH FUNERAL HOME, 824 S. Mayflower Rd.
