John, son of Martin Polega, died Aug. 11, 1900 at the age of 3 months and was interred in Cedar Grove Cemetery. (Records of St. Casimer's Catholic Church, South Bend, Indiana) His age, date of death, place of birth and death, the names of his parents, and the name of the cemetery in which he was buried are given in his Indiana death certificate for which his father was the informant. The undertaker was Bro. Francis Xavier of Notre Dame.
