Michael Klysz a leading merchant on So. Chapin Street died at 9:45 am Sunday Morningat his residence at 910 Perkins St. He had suffered for 14 years with Rheumatism and about three months ago lung trouble developed. He was born September 28, 1851 in Polish Germany and came to South Bend 29 years ago in 1870. For 12 years he had conducted a drug business on So. Chapin street. He leaves a wife, the former Josephine Drajus and seven children Bert, Lane, Pelgia, Lottie, John, Tola, and Teddy. He had been married for 21 years. The funeral will take place at 9:00 am Wednesday at St Hedwig Church. Rev Father Czyzenski will officiate. The remains will be laid to rest at Cedar Grove Cemetery, Notre Dame, IN.
