SOUTH BEND - Services for Emery M. Nemeth, 87, formerly of Fairington Circle, who died Thursday in Bremen Health Care Center, will be at 10 a.m. Monday in St. Matthew Cathedral Burial will be in Highland Cemetery. Friends may call From 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday in Guisinger Colonial Chapel Funeral Home, where a rosary will be said at 4 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the church. Mr. Nemeth retired from St. Joseph County Sheriff's Department in 1973. He was born Sept. 24, 1907, in South Bend. On Feb. 19, 1927, in South Bend, he married Mary C. Karacson. She died in 1979, Surviving are a daughter, Marian A. McQuade of South Bend; a son, John K. of Harrison Township, Mich.; 11 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and a brother, Karl of South Bend.
