Harold Eugene Renbarger passed away at 9:15 a.m. Saturday, November 24,2007, at his home on Lake Tippecanoe. Born in 1917, he was a 1936 graduate of Chippewa High School. In 1938, he married Janet Blood. They were preparing to celebrate 70 great years of marriage in January. Many of you may remember Renbarger's Market, which he owned for many years. After leaving the retail business, he served as postmaster in Wabash until 1979, when he retired at age 62. Harold is survived by four children, Larry, Roberta, Sandra, and Nadine. He survived the loss of his son David in 1978. His also survived by eight grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren. Harold loved life, but his primary loves were his family, friends, fishing and playing cards. He also enjoyed antique toys, mushroom hunting and making other laugh. His family would like to invite his friends to join them as they honor his 90 years of living. They will be hosting a Celebration of Life at the Wabash Elks Lodge from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. Tuesday November 27. No flowers please.
