MISHAWAKA - Elizabeth Dezamitz, 93, passed away at Sprenger Health Care Center of Mishawaka Wednesday morning. Elizabeth was a Michiana native her whole life, being born in South Bend to Julius and Rose (Egyed) Pinter. Elizabeth had a special place in her heart for dogs, especially for “Black Labs.” She loved to crochet and to work outside with her flowers. Elizabeth's daughter Judith and all of her grandchildren were very special to her. She married Andrew Dezamitz and together they would have one daughter, Judith. Elizabeth was preceded in death by her parents, spouse, and one sister, Rose Jaskoviak. She is survived by daughter, Judith (Richard) Barner; grandchildren, Richard (Stacie) Barner, Lori (Robert) Pletcher; great-grandchildren, Alyssa, Colleen, Kyle, Tim and Jill; and two great-great-grandchildren, Landon and Lindsey; sisters, Elaine Kleva and Ella Mae Retek. She also has one very special niece, Sandy Scott, who use to spend a lot of time with her. There are no services planned at this time.
