BUCHANAN - Donna Dee (Hagedorn) Pettie, 71, of Buchanan, passed away on Tuesday, January 19th, 2016, at Lakeland Community Hospital, Niles, surrounded by her family after a courageous battle with Scleroderma. Donna was born on April 30, 1944, to the late Chalmer and Mable Hagedorn in South Bend, IN. She attended Central High School in South Bend. Donna retired from Fapco, Inc. in Buchanan after over 20 years of service. She loved Elvis, the Chicago Bears and her family. Donna especially cherished her daughters and grandchildren. She is survived by her daughters, Kristen (Perry) Wahlstrom, Kim (Troy) Johnson and Kerri (Skii Harris) Pettie; grandchildren, Perry (Kaydee Turner), Makinzy, Kyle (Margarita), Kori and MaKenna; sisters, Darlene (Jack) Mell and Dollis McNeil; sister- in-law, Miriam Hagedorn; several nieces and nephews; and many other family members. Donna was preceded in death by her parents, Chalmer and Mable; brothers, Matthew, Roland, Sonny and Lee; and sisters, Leona and June. Funeral services for Donna will be held at 12 pm on Monday, January 25th, 2016, at Hoven Funeral Home, Buchanan. Burial will follow at Highland Cemetery in South Bend. Visitation will be two hours prior to the services from 10 am - 12 pm.
