Bert Herman was born 27 Aug 1908 in So Bend; died 26 Jun 1980 age 71 of 827 S Walnut died at 8:30 a.m. in St Joseph's Hospital after a sudden ilness. He retired from the City Water works in 1972. Services at St Casimir Catholic Church, burial in St Joseph Cemetery. On 19 Aug 1946 he married Wanda Dobosz who died 13 Feb 1971. He is survived by 2 daughters, Glennadine and Sharon Herman, a son Delvin all of South Bend, 3 grandchildren; 4 sisters, Mrs Louise Peters, Mrs Theresa Wisniewski, Mrs Bernice Jankowski and Mrs Dorothy Chrapek all of So Bend, a brother Clem of Milwaukee WI.
