Mishawaka - Remo “Ray” Artusi, 65, of 330 W. Ninth St., died about 7:30 a.m. today in his home after an illness. Mr. Artusi was born March 3, 1920 in Mishawaka, and was a lifetime area resident. He retired from Wheelabrator Corp. in 1982 after 18 years of service. On Aug. 7, 1943, in Mishawaka He married the former Roberta L. Drockelman. She survives with a son John L. of South Bend; four grandchildren; three sisters, Ann Young and Louise Miller, both of Mishawaka, and Alice McCrae of Fort Wayne; and three brothers, Guido and Libero, both of Mishawaka, and Rene of Woodland. Friend may call from 7 to 9 p.m. today and 2 to 9 p.m. Friday in Hahn’s DeVos Funeral Chapel. Mr. Artusi was a member of the DeAmicis Club and the Goodfellows Club and served on the board of directors of Wheelabrator Athletic Association.

Services for Remo “Ray” Artusi of 330 W. Ninth St., who died Thursday in his home, will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in Hahn’s DeVos Funeral Chapel. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery.
Friends may call until 9 p.m. today in the funeral home, where a rosary will be recited at 7:30 p.m.
