SOUTH BEND - Rita E. Treash, 87, of South Bend, passed away Saturday, March 18, 2017, in her residence of natural causes. She was born June 13, 1929, in Chicago, IL, to the late Bertha (French) and Peter Falk. On August 3, 1943, in Oroville, Ca., she married John M. Treash, who died in 1995. She is survived by her children, Kathleen Radtke (Jerry) and Joseph Treash (Cindy), both of South Bend. She was also preceded in death by her son, John C. Treash. She has seven grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. There will be no services, and cremation will be in the Welsheimer Crematory, as per her wishes.
