Rose Mary Radomski
Aug. 25, 1918 - July 3, 2010
SOUTH BEND - On August 25, 1918, Joseph and Mary Mroczek welcomed their daughter, Rose Mary, in Saint Joseph County, Indiana. After graduation, Rose was a secretary at Ball Band where she met Louis Radomski. They married May 24, 1941, in St. Casmir's Church, South Bend, Indiana, where she had been a lifelong parishioner. Shortly thereafter they bought their residence in the River Park neighborhood where she lived for over 60 years. They enjoyed 55 1/2 years of marital harmony. She enjoyed visiting family and frequently cared for her nieces and nephews. She was active in her church: singing in the choir, playing cards with her Circle, and participating in the Rosary Society at St. Anthony de Padua in South Bend. Later in her marriage she attended St. Monica's Church in Mishawaka where she enjoyed the senior luncheons. Rose was preceded in peace by her beloved Louie, her parents, her brother, Stanley Mroczek, and siblings, Stephanie Kozuch (John) Nevins, Joseph, Leo and Walter Kozuch. Her sister, Anne (Ed) Pierchala, her sister-in-law, Arlene Mroczek, six nieces, eight nephews, and many great-nieces and nephews survive her. She will be missed by all. Rose passed quietly in her sleep on Saturday, July 3, 2010. A private family memorial preceded interment next to Louis at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Osceola, Indiana. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in her name to Saint Monica Catholic Church, 222 W. Mishawaka Ave., Mishawaka, IN 46545; or to the Harbor Light Hospice, 4330 Miami Street, South Bend, IN 46614. Palmer Funeral Home-River Park, South Bend, has assisted the family with arrangements. Online condolences may be sent to the family at www.palmerfuneralhomes.com.
