Eli Hickey Jr., age 53, Ardmore Heights, rural route, No. 3, died Friday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock at his home after an illness of three years. He was born in South Bend, Sept. 28, 1870, and had lived in this vicinity all his life. Surviving are his wife Pearl; his father, Eli Hickey of South Bend; four sons, Clarence and Anthony of South Bend, and James and Ben of Mishawaka; one brother Ben Hickey of Los Angeles, Calif., and six sisters, Mrs David Smith, Mrs. Alfred Daveline, Mrs. Orlando Barrett and Mrs. Thomas Turnock, all of South Bend, Mrs. Edward Welty of Muskegon, Mich., and Mrs. Clarissa LaFountaine of New York The funeral will be held Monday morning at 9 o'clock at St. Patrick's Catholic Church, Rev. William Minnick CSC officiating. Burial will be in Cedar Grove Cemetery. Submitted by: Dan Rich
