VIRGINIA BEACH- Elizabeth Agnes Synave, 88, passed away on February 4, 2005.
She was the widow of Florman P. Synave and a member of the Church of the Ascension in Virginia Beach. She was a native of South Bend, Indiana and was an avid gardener and loved all sorts of hand crafts. She is survived by two sisters, Frances Williams and Martha Palka, both of South Bend, Indiana; four granddaughters, Katherine Arnold of Auburn, Alabama, Julie Gamboa of Honolulu, Hawaii, Lynn Rushing of Virginia Beach, Virginia and Susan McKaig of Washington, D.C.; and eight great-grandchildren, Tori, Jessica, Catie, Grace, Anna, Alex, Jack and Will. A Mass Service will be held on Tuesday, February 8, 2005 at 11:00am in the Church of the Ascension by Father James E. Parke with burial to follow in Colonial Grove Memorial Park.In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society at 2730 Ellsmere Avenue, Norfolk, Virginia 23513 or to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society at 5511 Staples Mill Road, Suite 105, Richmond, VA 23228.
