SOUTH BEND - Robert "Bozo" Vuckovich, 73, passed away at 11:20 pm Thursday, July 2, 2015. Robert was born on December 9, 1941, in Mileticevo, Yugoslavia, to the Very Reverend George "Djuro" and Violet "Ljubica" (Radulovich) Vuckovich. Bob retired in 1997 from AM General where he was employed for 32 years, and served his country in the United States Navy. He was a member of Sts. Peter & Paul Serbian Orthodox Church, its Aleksa Shantich Choir and the Serbian National Federation. Robert was a good steward to the church and had a heart of gold. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother-in-law, Mike Knezevich. Surviving are two sisters, Vera Vuckovich and Maria Knezevich, both of South Bend; a brother, Michael "Bato" Vuckovich of South Bend, three nieces, Brianna "Seja" Vuckovich, Mileva "Kosa" Vuckovich, and Bianca "Beba" (Jason) Koski; a great-nephew, Brayden Michael Koski; a great-niece, Brielle Koski; an ex-sister-in-law, Juliann Narancich of Clearwater, FL; and numerous Kumovi and friends. Funeral services will be celebrated at 11:00 am Tuesday, July 7, 2015, in Sts. Peter & Paul Serbian Orthodox Church. Burial will follow at Sacred Heart Cemetery. Friends may call from 3-8 Monday in the Zahoran Funeral Home, 1826 S. Kemble Avenue, where a Prayer Service will be conducted at 7:00 pm. Viewing will also take place 1 hour prior to services in the church on Tuesday. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Sts.
