Angela Jean Tirotta Marlin, 66, of Niles, Michigan, died in her residence on Wednesday May 10, 2006. She was born in South Bend on July 27, 1939, to Perry R. and Lena R. (Sainato) Tirotta. Angela married James Marlin in Niles on June 27, 1976. She is survived by her husband, James of Niles; her children, John C. (Joyce) Howell, Chris C. (Pam) Howell and Jamie L. (Ralph) Howell, all of Niles, Kellie M. (Jim) Rzepka of Niles, Dennie A. (Scott) Riley of Buchanan, Jeana M. (Chris) Senti of Grand Rapids and Clint W. (Jenny) Marlin of Niles. Also surviving are grandchildren, Phillip, Angelena, Robert, Jessica, Joyie, Jenny, Jackie, Jeremy, Jillian, Ralph, Justine, Abigail, Madison, Zachary, Natalie, Clayton, Blake, Alex, Alysa, Jessy and Wesley; great-grandchildren, Caley, Brenden and Kristen. Among other survivors are sisters, Edith Lansford of Mishawaka, Rose Ratkay of Niles, Kathryn Everly of South Bend, Barbara Johnson of Niles and Sandra Chabera of South Bend; and brothers, Frank, Paul and Joseph Tirotta, all of South Bend.
Angela was preceded in death by her parents; three sisters, Judy Sinkovics, Mary Spencer and Terry McKamey; and a brother, Pete Tirotta. Angela was co-owner of the Barbie-Jean Restaurant in Niles. She was a member of St. Mark Catholic Church in Niles. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to8 p.m. Sunday May 14, in Bubb Funeral Chapel, 3910 N. Main St. in Mishawaka, where the Rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. Sunday. The Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11 a.m. Monday, in St. Mark Catholic Church in Niles. Burial will follow at Highland Cemetery in South Bend. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Lung Association.
