MISHAWAKA - Marilyn Marie Leuthold, 83, of Mishawaka passed away during the early morning hours of Sunday, January 21, 2018 in Sprenger Health Care of Mishawaka. Marilyn was born in Mishawaka on July 11, 1934 to the late Herschel E. and Hazel (Lechlitner) Trittipo. On June 12, 1953 in Mishawaka, she married Henry Leuthold Jr.; he preceded her in death on December 22, 2010. Marilyn was a teller at 1st Source Bank for many years. Years ago she and her husband owned South Side Cut Rate in Mishawaka, and Leuthold's Resort in Bear Lake, MI. She was a member of the St. Andrew United Church of Christ. She loved to sing and was Choir Director at St. Andrews for many years. Marilyn is survived by her daughter, Kris Torrey of San Bernadino, California, granddaughter, Brittany Hojnacki, and two grandsons, Joseph and Joshua Leuthold, along with 2 great granddaughters, Alexis and Lilly. She is also survived by a son-in-law, Bruce Hojnacki of Mishawaka and daughter-in-law, Kathy Leuthold of South Bend. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Teri Leuthold-Hojnacki, a brother during WWII, LaVerne Trirripo and a sister, Marjorie Miller. Friends may gather with the family on Saturday, February 3 in the Osceola United Methodist Church from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM. A Celebration of Marilyn's Life will be held at 11:00 AM with Pastor Dale Speckman. She will be laid to rest at a later date next to her husband, Henry at the St. Joseph Valley Memorial Park in Granger. Bubb Funeral Chapel is assisting the family with arrangements.
