John D. Forte, 61, of Mishawaka passed away Sunday March 19, 2023. He is survived by his daughter Alexandria Forte (Lucas Hendee), son Jacob Forte (Del Enyart), brother Richard Forte (Mary Forte), brother Joseph Forte (Connie Forte), sister Teresa Riethmiller (Tom Riethmiller), brother Fredrick Forte (Susan Forte), and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents Anthony and Ruth Doreen Forte. John left behind a legacy of love, laughter, and resiliency. He was THE definitive Browns fan, a fisherman, a prankster, a brother to many, and most of all, a Kickass dad. He loved cooking and tweaking his favorite Italian meals for his kids, which was his way of passing down his pride in his family heritage. When he wasn’t cooking, he was jammin’ on his treasured drum set with his band buddies. John was the Forte family’s connective thread, with a knack for forming special bonds with anyone he’d meet. He can rest assured, knowing that his legacy will be faithfully carried by his beloved twin children. Memorial services for John will be held at 1:00 pm on April 1, 2023 at Palmer Funeral Homes-Bubb Chapel, 3910 N. Main Street, Mishawaka, Indiana.
