SOUTH BEND - Shirley J. Borkowski, 80, passed away Wednesday, August 3, 2016. Shirley was born June 13, 1936 in South Bend to the late Alfred and Anna Shamory. Shirley was married to the former Donald F. Borkowski. Survivors of Shirley include her children, Cynthia (Kevin C.) McGowan, Brian (Gwen Kreie) Borkowski, Paul (Doreen) Borkowski, and June (Scott) Stoneburner; grandchildren, Ryan (Lexi) of WI., Eric (Jenna), Cory and Jenna Stoneburner, Cotye (Christina) Lemelin, Nicole and Brianna Borkowski, and “Lil” Kevin McGowan; great-granddaughters, Mallory Lemelin, and Aubree Borkowski; sister, Patricia Duley of Mishawaka; brother, Richard (Victoria) Duley of MI; and several nieces and nephews. The family would like to extend a special thanks to Southern Care Hospice and especially nurses Nadia Hajeaj and Jennifer Miller. ST. JOSEPH FUNERAL HOME, 824 S.
