Edith E Neher,age 91,of 721 S East St, Bremen,Ind. passed away at 10:50 A. M. on Saturday,Oct.9,at Community Hospital of Bremen,following a brief illness. Edith was born on Nov.11,1907,in Bourbon,Ind., to Irvin and Nellie(Lyons)Summy.March 9,1926,she married Herbert W. Neher,in Bremen.He preceded her in death on Feb.15,1989.A lifetime area redsident,Edith was a homemaker and a member of Grace Untied Methodist Church in Bremen. Edith is survived by two daughters,Joan Christman and Bonnie(robert) Bowen,both of Mishawaka,Ind.;Two sons,Donald L.(Nancy)Neher of ishawaka.Ind.and Allen W. (Vicki)Neher of Bremen;nine grandchildren,13 great-grandchildren,and one great-great-grandchild. Her parents;two brothers,Ward and Kenneth; and one daughter,Mary Ellen,preceded her in death. Funeral services will be 10:30 a. m. on Tuesday, October 12 ,at the Mishler Funeral home in Bremen.burial will be at the Bremen Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. today at the Mishler Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be given to the Community Hospital of Bremen.
