Ralph Russell Warrell, 96, of Mishawaka, passed away on July 26, 2022, in South Bend, Indiana. Ralph was born on July 23, 1926, in Mishawaka, IN, to the late Fred and Violet (Wardlow) Warrell. Ralph proudly served in the US Army. On October 21, 1950, he married Gertrude Markiewicz who preceded him in death, along with his son, Thomas Warrell; sisters, June King, Mary Jane Thompson and Sharon McGill and his brothers, Marvin Warrell, Robert Warrell and Jim Warrell. Surviving is his son, Dr. Gerald (Michele) Warrell of South Bend, IN, grandchildren, Gregory, Sr. Mary Augustine (Celeste), Sr. ZĂ©lie Marie (Rachel), Valerie, Mark, Teresa, Daniel, and Janelle. Ralph worked as barber for over 40 years, owning and operating Miami Barbershop for 21 years, 10 years at Weyerhausen Paper Co in South Bend, then going to work at Broadmoor Barbershop for another 20 years. He was a member of St. Matthews Church, Eagles #2083, Ushers Club at St. Matthews and Holy Name. He enjoyed his woodworking and making clocks, along with golfing and fishing. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 3, 2022, 4:00 PM to7:00 PM at Hahn Funeral Home, 505 W. 8th Street, Mishawaka. A rosary will be recited at 4:00 PM. Mass of Christian Burial will be on Thursday, August 4, 2022, at 10:00 AM with Father Terry Fischer officiating. In St. Matthew Cathedral South Bend. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Valley Memorial Park, Granger, IN, with Military Rites conducted by VFW Post 360/American Legion Post 161. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Vincent DePaul Society.
