SOUTH BEND - Ervin W. Radzikowski, 81, of South Bend, IN, passed away on Friday, August 20, 2010, in his residence. Ervin was born on September 12, 1928, to Walter and Felicia (Dombeck) Radzikowski. On May 8, 1982, in South Bend, he married Mary Lou Sousley. Mary preceded him in death on December 9, 1998. Ervin was also preceded in death by one sister, Delores Squires, and one brother, Duane R. Radzikowski Sr. Ervin is survived by his stepson, David A. Sousley of South Bend, IN; three nephews, Duane R. Radzikowski Jr. of Kankakee, IL, David Radzikowski of South Bend and Jon Squires of South Bend, IN; two granddaughters, Jenifer Knowlton of Walkerton, IN, and Megan Sousley of South Bend, IN; and by three great-grandchildren, Josh, Emma and Isabella Knowlton of Walkerton, IN. Ervin was a veteran of the U.S. Army, serving in the Korean Conflict. He was a member of St. Stanislaus, and was an avid fisherman. Memorial services for Ervin will be on Monday, August 30, 2010, at 2:00 p.m. in the Bubb Funeral Chapel, 3910 N. Main Street, Mishawaka, IN, where visitation will also be on Monday from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. Rev. Ervin Mize will officiate the services. Burial will take place at St. Joseph P.R.C. Cemetery in South Bend. (Ervin will be greatly missed by his family and friends for his laughter, humor and kindness).
