MISHAWAKA - Eddie C. Hosea, 75, of Mishawaka, IN, passed away at 6:45 a.m. Sunday, May 20, 2012, in the Golden Living Center, Mishawaka. Eddie was born on April 9, 1937, in Savannah, TN, to Cecil and Wilma (Fraiser) Hosea. Eddie is survived by his wife, Vernonne (Massey) Hosea of Mishawaka; two grandchildren, Jessica Lynn (Sjoerd) Kamphuis of The Netherlands, Christopher Ingle of Elkhart, IN; four great-grandchildren, Sascha Slegers, Lisanne Slegers, Dylano Kamphuis and Candy Hosea; three sisters, Betty Kyle, Wanda Tekker and Vickey (Gary) Hartman, all of Mishawaka; and many nieces and nephews. His parents preceded Eddie in death along with a daughter, Diana Lynn Hosea; a son, Ricky Allen Hosea; two sisters, Sue Franks and Janell Simprini; and two brothers, Jimmy Hosea and Joe Hosea. Eddie retired from Amcast Products where he was a supervisor. Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Friday, May 25, at the Bubb Funeral Chapel, 3910 N. Main Street, Mishawaka, where visitation will also be on Friday from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. Rev Ervin Mize will officiate the services, with burial to follow at Fairview Cemetery in Mishawaka.
