SOUTH BEND - Patrick J. Keszei, 57, of South Bend, passed away on September 29, 2016, in his home. Pat was born as he liked to say “9/9/59” to the late Mary Ann and Emery Keszei in South Bend. Pat graduated from Marian High School, Mishawaka, in 1978 where he excelled in wrestling, finishing third in the state tournament his senior year. As an alum he enjoyed going to Marian games with friends. He attended the University of Oregon where he wrestled and was a proud Ducks fan all his life. Pat graduated from Indiana University and also earned an MBA from IU. He was a proud Hoosier fan all his life as well. Pat worked as an accountant prior to beginning a long career as a Certified Public Accountant. He started his business Keszei CPA. He also taught continuing education classes and earned a Certified Valuation Analyst designation which provided valuation services to many clients. Pat is survived by his sister, Judith Anne (Thomas) Callahan of Granger, IN; and two nephews, Blake and Brad Callahan. A Memorial Mass will be held at St. Jude Catholic Church in South Bend on October 6 at 10:30 a.m. Visitation will begin at 9:30 a.m. Family will be accepting friends in his home after the Mass.
