Frand Barilich, 82, of 58433 Windsor Ave., died today in his home. He was retired from the Studebaker Corp. Born June 23, 1902, in Trauzdorf, Austria, he moved South Bend in 1922. His first wife, Frances Millitich, died in 1949. On Oct. 28, 1950, in South Bend, he married Mary Ellis, who survives. He is also survived by a daughter, Frances Toth of Elk River, Minn.; three sons. Steve, John, and Joseph, all of South Bend; two step-daughters, Mary Tanner, of Florida and Emma VanVooren of Mishawaka; two stepsons, John and George Ellis of South Bend. 14 grandchildren; 16 step-grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; 24 step-great-grandchildren; and a step-great-great-grandchild. Burial will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery, South Bend.
