[N1732] STANLEY ANDRZEJEWSKI
b] 29 Apr 1897 Poland [father Adam's N.I.] -- South Bend Tribune, Sept 1939.
Stanley T, RR 3: " When just a boy of 6, he was among about 100 Polish children who were attacked by a German teacher in a classroom in Wrzesnia Poland because they refused an order by the Iron Chancellor Bismarck to pay in German money instead of Polish. A seven year old girl was beaten to death in the classroom. Siegfried Kazmierczak of 2722 Prast, employed as a linotype operator at the South Bend Tribune is the girls cousin. The incident in Wrzesnia was one of the chapters in Polish martydom under the iron Prussian fist. Stanley stated: If Hitler is allowed to take the Polish corridor, Polish people know what to expect. The teacher who killed the small girl & tortured others was not even called into court. This is substantiated by historical references to the incident. Stanley joined the American Army when World War broke out to avenge the beating of the girl."
