[N608] Hattie and her husband Stanley owned Pepper's Tavern which was on Chapin Street. They were known for the delicious fish. Many of the Catholics from the area would call in their orders on Friday and then go to the tavern to pick it up. Many men from the area would go there after work for a few beers before going home
