[N15987] Suzanne “Suzie” Rupchock
March 18, 1950 - Dec. 28, 2016
MISHAWAKA - Suzanne “Suzie” Rupchock, 66, of Mishawaka, died peacefully in her sleep on Wednesday, December 28, 2016. Suzie was born to Catherine L. “Kate” Kosanovich and Robert W. Anglin on March 18, 1950, both of whom preceded her in death. A sister Linda also preceded her in death. On April 17, 1971, she married Joseph A. Rupchock, who survives, along with daughter, Katie; son, Michael (Mike), and grandson, Joey. Suzie is also survived by sister, Patricia L. Wharton; brother-in-law, Geoff Wharton; triplet nephews, Mike, Geoff, and Tom Wharton; sister, Pamela J. Kosanovich; “Aunt” Peg Friedrich, and a host of other loving relatives and dear friends.Suzie always put her family above all else, spoiling them with her phenomenal cooking. She laughed often, and was quick-witted with an intelligent sense of humor. Her only grandson held a very special place in her heart. She took great pride in her flowers during the summer months, and was the envy of the block, with passing strangers often stopping to compliment her on the beauty of her meticulous planting. She loved dancing, and was always up on the latest music, often blaring videos on “Vevo” and grooving to the beat. She also adored her chihuahuas, Petey and Pico, who will miss her greatly. As Suzie wished, she wanted those who loved her to remember her as she was in life; sweet, loving, spunky, energetic, and tremendously fun. In keeping with her wishes, there will be no visitation or services. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Heartland Small Animal Rescue, PO Box 6033, South Bend, IN 46660, or to the Epilepsy Foundation of Indiana, 3901 W. 86th St., #380, Indianapolis, IN 46268. We will miss you so very much, Momma. Hahn Funeral Home, Mishawaka has been entrusted with handling the final arrangements.
