SOUTH BEND - Mary T. Jasinski, 95, of South Bend, IN passed away peacefully on January 17, 2012 at Healthwin Care Facility of natural causes. Mary was born on Sept. 15, 1916, in South Bend, to Mary (Kovatch) and Joseph Torok. On May 11, 1946 in South Bend she married Felix J. Jasinski. Felix preceded her in death on May 8, 1994. Her three brothers, Joseph, Stephen and Charles Torok also preceded Mary in death. Mary was a resident at Healthwin for 6 years, where she was a member of the Red Hat Society. She also enjoyed the crafts, manicures, watching Notre Dame Football and mostly the bingo games. She is survived by her three daughters: Christine Voorde of Mishawaka, Carol (Dave) Verstraete of South Bend and Deborah (Mike) Zielinski of Mishawaka; seven grandchildren; Christopher (Michelle), Paul, and Jason (Sylvia) Verstraete; Nicole and Brian (Tracie) Voorde; Adam Zielinski, and April (Bill) Vanslager. She is also survived by fourteen great-grandchildren: Kylie, Zoie, Noah, Alicia, Christian, and Adrianne Verstraete; Justin and Lindsey Sergio, Hailey Harper, Brice, and Payton Voorde; Abrielle Zielinski, Caiden and Avah Vanslager. A special thanks to the staff of Healthwin Care Facility for the thoughtful care and friendship that they gave to Mary during her stay. Palmer Funeral Home - Hickey Chapel is assisting with arrangements. A private family service will be held. Interment will be at Riverview Cemetery.
