MISHAWAKA, IN - Christopher A. Bauer, 40, died March 19, 2021. He was born February 14, 1981 in Mishawaka to Robert Bauer and Linda (Muszynski) Vanderwerf. Surviving are his beloved fiancé, Paula Craig, mother, Linda (Muszynski) Vanderwerf, stepmother, Janis Bauer; brothers, Ryan (Christina) Trent, John (Justine) Bauer, and William Bauer, sister, Elizabeth Ford, along with many cousins and friends. Preceding him in death are his father, grandparents Ed & Sue Muszynski, grandparents Robert & Dorothy Bauer, and his Nanna & Daddy George Trent. Chris had a love for anything automotive. He loved to go to automotive shows and work on cars. He also had a passion for music and loved playing his guitar. Chris will be greatly missed by his family, Paula, and his many friends.
