ELKHART - Nancy E. Bartosiak, 60, passed away at 10:30 am Wednesday, March 13, 2013 in the Elkhart Hospice House. Nancy was born June 20, 1952 in South Bend, to John and Delores (Cook) Hopewell. Nancy is preceded in death by her father, John W. Hopewell. On December 28, 1979 in South Bend, Nancy married Ronald R. Bartosiak; he survives, along with sons, Sean (Kristie) Bartosiak of Noblesville, IN, Corey J. Bartosiak of Edwardsburg, MI, & Kyle S. Bartosiak of Tampa, FL; granddaughter, Olivia N. Bartosiak; grandsons, Langdon P. and Mason C. Bartosiak; mother, Delores (Cook) Hopewell; brother, Brian (Liz) Hopewell of Green Bay, WI; sister, Judy (Mike) Mackowiak of Fort Wayne, IN; and twelve nieces and nephews. Nancy was a dental assistant for 30 years with her husband, Ronald Bartosiak, DDS; she retired May 1, 2003. Nancy loved gardening, crafts, cooking, playing/coaching soccer, boating and being on the lake. Most of all, Nancy loved her grandchildren and dog Jasper. She was always willing to help others. Gathering for Nancy will be held 10:00 am to 2:00 pm on Saturday, March 16, 2013 in ST. JOSEPH FUNERAL HOME, 824 S. Mayflower Rd.
