A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, November 3, 2018 in St. Pius X Church. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery. A visitation will be held from 9:30 a.m. until 10:15 a.m. Saturday in St. Pius X Church

OBITUARY
Arthur L. Chlebowski, 89, of South Bend, Indiana and Edwardsburg, Michigan passed away at 9:30 p.m. Friday, October 26, 2018, in Wedgewood Pines. He was born on July 21, 1929 in South Bend, to Maciej and Angela (Hanyszewski) Chlebowski. On April 15, 1950, in Holy Cross Church, he married Rosemary J. Wawrzynczak, who preceded him in death on July 31, 2015. Arthur and Rosemary lived on Cobert Lake in Edwardsburg, from 1974 until 2013 enjoying the fishing and beautiful sunsets. He was also preceded in death by his son-in-law, Nicholas Skrzeszewski; two sisters; and two brothers. Arthur is survived by three daughters, Martha Jo Skrzeszewski of Granger, Indiana, Cheryl Ann (Stephen) Whitaker of South Bend, Indiana, and Anita Sue (David) Holland of Niles, Michigan; one son, Matthew L. (Bonnie) Chlebowski of Edwardsburg, Michigan; ten grandchildren; and thirteen great-grandchildren. He was employed in the printing business for over 50 years, retiring in 1995 from Impressions, Inc. in Goshen, Indiana. Arthur was a member of St. Pius X Parish and a former member of Our Lady of the Lake Parish in Edwardsburg, Michigan. He was a past president of M.R. Falcons Nest #4 and a past secretary of the Polish Falcons of America District 6. Arthur was a member of the Michiana Alumni Band and an original member of the Michiana Polka Singers. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, November 3, 2018 in St. Pius X Church. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery, South Bend, Indiana. A visitation will be held from 9:30 a.m. until 10:15 a.m. on Saturday in St. Pius X Church. Memorial Contributions may be directed to St. incent DePaul Society, Grace Hospice, or the Polish Falcons of America Scholarship Fund. Kaniewski Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements
