Patty Hixenbaugh Kline, 63 of Lehigh Acres, Florida formerly of Mishawaka, Indiana passed away on January 3, 2023 at her home after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born March 1, 1959 to the late Harry and Alice (Abbott) Hixenbaugh. She was the youngest of 10 children. Her parents preceded her in death along with 5 siblings. Robert (Bobby) Hixenbaugh, Ronald (Ronnie) Hixenbaugh, Mary Lou Kizer, Deborah (Debbie) Kartley, and Alice Hixenbaugh. Patty is survived by her son Fred Kline and daughter Chelsie Kline. Also left to cherish her memories are siblings, Barbara (Gene) Nichols, Danny Hixenbaugh, Donald (Kathie) Hixenbaugh, and Jane Hixenbaugh. Brother in Laws Greg Kizer, Joe Kartley and sister in law Peggy Hixenbaugh. Patty has two grand children Dai' Zayna Green and Jai' Daryian Young who were the loves of her life. She loved her nieces and nephews and talked of them often. Patty also had her Florida family. Her Florida mom, Helen Pritchett and Florida sister Gloria Jean Borsato Reece. Patty spent much of her time in Florida with her childhood friend and Florida friend, Vicki Dawson Hawkins. Patty had love of family. She was an avid Notre Dame fan and you would often hear her screaming at the TV during the Notre Dame games. Her other love was the beach which she would venture out to even when her body told her to stay home. She will be missed by many! A Celebration of Life is planned on Saturday January 14th, with family at 10:30am with service to follow at 11: 00am and it will be held at Osceola United Methodist Church, 435 N. Beech Rd., Osceola, IN with Pastor Daryl Gilbert officiating.
