MISHAWAKA - Severine Mary Dentino, 94, of Mishawaka, Indiana, died peacefully on Wednesday, April 19, 2017. Mary was born February 1, 1923 in South Bend, Indiana to Stefan and Mary Ann (Kolanowska) Blumberg. She married Robert Dentino, May 22, 1966 where she gained four children. Mary retired from Bendix where she was an administrative assistant. She also worked at Wheelabrators. She was a parish member of Queen of Peace Church and a member of the Polish Women's Alliance of America. Mary enjoyed spending time at the lake cottage with her husband, Bob, going on bus trips to plays and shopping. She enjoyed celebrating Christmas with her family every year where she always had her special chocolate cookies ready to eat. Mary is preceded in death by her mother, father and brother, Lindy Blumberg and her stepson, Jim Dentino. Surviving are her stepchildren: Mariellen Dentino of Evansville, Indiana, Steven (Terri) Dentino of Bremen, Indiana and Dan (Linda) Dentino of Valley Center, California; and grandchildren: Kyle (Ashley) Dentino of Fairview, Pennsylvania, Vincent Wiggins of South Bend, Indiana, Melissa Lynn of Mishawaka, Indiana, Robert (Holly) Westler of Valley Center, California and Christina (Chad) McKenzie of Washington, D.C. Mary has 10 great-grandchildren who could always bring a smile to her face: Bryce, Connor, Kelsey, Mason, Zoe, Jaiden, Tristen, Harlow, Maggie and Amelia. Visitation will be from 10am until 12pm on Friday, April 28, 2017 at Bubb Funeral Chapel, 3910 North Main Street, Mishawaka, Indiana, followed by a Catholic Mass at Queen of Peace Catholic Church in Mishawaka at 1pm on Friday, April 28th. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Humane Society of Mishawaka, Indiana or to Queen of Peace Catholic Church. Published in South Bend Tribune on Apr. 23, 2017
