ROLLING PRAIRIE - Lillian L. Jankowski, 92, passed away at 11:10 am on Wednesday, March 17, 2010 in her residence. Lillian was born on June 30, 1917 in New Carlisle, IN to the late Jake and Veronica Gorny. On July 4, 1936 in St. Stanislaus Catholic Church, Terre Coupe she married Casimer Jankowski. He preceded her in death in 1997. She was preceded in death by her twin brother, Joe Gorny; and by her sister, Dorothy Skowronski. She is survived by her daughter, Shirley Redman of Mishawaka; two granddaughters, Cindy (Carlton) Smith of Rolling Prairie and Lori Ann (Jim) Benjamin of Mishawaka; six great-grandchildren, Cortney, Melissa, Elizabeth, Molly, Audry and James; three great-great-grandchildren, Jayden, Alexia and Casey; and by her sister, Gladys Skowronski of Mishawaka. Lillian was a parishioner of St. Stanislaus Catholic Church, Terre Coupe and was a member of PNA #3078. She enjoyed crocheting, playing cards and she loved spending time with her family. Visitation will be from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Sunday, March 21, 2010 in ST. JOSEPH FUNERAL HOME, 824 S. Mayflower Rd where a Rosary will be prayed at 4:30 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 am on Monday, March 22, 2010 in St. Stanislaus Catholic Church, Terre Coupe. Entombment will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery.
