Grace A. Palumbo, 90, of Elkhart, died at 9:35 a.m. Saturday, September 13, 2014 at East Lake Rehabilitation Center. Grace was born June 29, 1924 in Elkhart to Vito and Mary (Carlo) Palumbo. They preceded her in death along with a sister, Madelon Kimes and two brothers, Louis and Michael Palumbo. She is survived by a sister, Sabella Ort of Elkhart; several nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews. Grace retired from Miles Laboratories (Bayer) where she worked as a secretary. A private burial will take place at St. Vincent’s Cemetery at a later date. Hartzler-Gutermuth-Inman Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
