SOUTH BEND - Lillian H. Sobczak, 100, passed away on Wednesday, November 11, 2009 at 7:25 am in Sanctuary at St. Paul. Lillian was born on May 16, 1909 in South Bend to the late John and Hattie (Gerlinski) Kajzer. She married Anthony C. Sobczak on June 7, 1932, he passed away on December 9, 1980. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Benedict and by her six sisters, Jean, Martha, Gladys, Alice, Annette, and Clementine. She is survived by her three sons, Richard (Christine) Sobczak of Sun City West, AZ, Gerald (Lori) Sobczak of Noblesville, IN and Kenneth (Rita) Sobczak of Granger; eight grandchildren; and nineteen great grandchildren. Lillian was a parishioner of St. Casimir Catholic Church and a member of the Altar Rosary Society, Sacred Heart Association, St. Casimir Senior Citizens Club and St. Adalbert's Harvest House. Family and friends may gather from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm on Saturday November 14, 2009, in St. Casimir Catholic Church where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 1:00 pm. Entombment will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery. ST. JOSEPH FUNERAL HOME, 824 S. Mayflower Road is assisting the family. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Casimir Catholic Church, 1308 W.
