She was born Cecelia Mary Sobecki, but her name somehow over the years got converted to "Lucille." I once asked her if her name is Cecelia, why did she let all of us nieces and nephews call her "Aunt Lucille;" she replied that it wasn't a big deal to her, so she just let it go. Her sister, my Aunt Bonnie (Bernadette) said during that conversation that she always called her "Ceil." I believe that I just assumed because Aunt Bonnie called her Ceil that it was short for "Lucille." I guess I was wrong. Also, she has more siblings than those listed; there were 11 girls and 4 boys in the Sobecki family.
