South Bend - Brian F. Cukrowicz, age 77, of Alliance, Ohio, passed away on November 6, 2021.
Brian was a loving father and husband who was an incredible role model for all those he touched. After graduating high school in his birthplace of South Bend, Indiana he joined the U.S. Army as a missile specialist for two years with service overseas in Korea. Brian then went on to serve the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) for over forty years overseeing airfield radar and radio operations. He was a lover of family, gardening and photography in his free time. Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Marcia Chapman Cukrowicz; his children, Kevin, Julie Cukrowicz (Perry McGraw) and Amy (Ron) Frazier; grandchildren, Syd (Abi) Gwin, Crystal Gwin (Levi Wise), Katie Cukrowicz, Blake Gwin, Andrew Frazier, and Emily Cukrowicz; great-grandchildren, Aiden Gwin, Grace Gwin, Charlie Vansickle and Chloe Gwin; and brothers, Noel (Kathy) Cukrowicz and Paul (Becca) Crow. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 13, 2021 at the Diamond Street Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, 98 S. Diamond St., Mansfield, Ohio 44902.
