[N20361] Delores Anderson
June 30, 1929 - Jan. 5, 2019
SOUTH BEND, IN - Our beautiful Mom, DeeDee (Delores) Anderson is in Heaven now with the “love of her life,” Jervis, our Dad. She left us peacefully holding her youngest son, Bryan's hand. Throughout this holiday and all her life, she was surrounded with love from her family and friends. During her prime, she was the Women's Fashion Manager at Goldblatt's Department Store (Town & Country) and later the Marianne Dress Shop at Scottsdale Mall. DeeDee and Jerv spent many years attending Mishawaka and Marian High School volleyball matches, where their sons Steve and Dan coach. They also spent 35 joyous years of retirement wintering in Florida. DeeDee enjoyed fishing, cooking, cards and board games, gardening, reading, music, and dancing. She loved spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Her love and support of family and friends was unconditional and endless, all in all a wonderful life well lived. She is forever in our hearts. DeeDee is survived by five children, Sharon Anderson Love of South Bend, Teresa Anderson Hildebrand (Mark) of Carmel, Indiana, Steve Anderson of Mishawaka, Dan Anderson of South Bend, and Bryan Anderson (Caryl) of Carmel; ten grandchildren, Kelly Love Marsho (Scott), Mike Love (Kate), Matt Love, Courtney Love (Lorena), Brooke Hildebrand Smith (Jeff), Lindsey Hildebrand Wegman, Emily Anderson, Madelyn Anderson Ledbetter (Ryan), Macauley Anderson, and Karstyn Anderson; and seven great-grandchildren, Megan Marsho, Brock Marsho, Audrey Love, Delaney Love, Everly Wegman, Jake Wegman, and Eden Ledbetter. DeeDee was blessed with many nieces, nephews, and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband of 66 years, Jervis; her parents, Andrew and May (Bronkowsky) Herman; her sisters, Edna (Larry) Clayton and Patricia (Vern) Davidson; and her son-in-law, Michael W. Love. In lieu of flowers, the family asks you to donate to the charity of your choice. As with her wishes, there will be a private burial with immediate family only. We will have a “Celebration of Life” in honor of our mom on Sunday, March 17, from 3-6 pm at Castle Manor Pavilion in Merrifield Park, 1000 E. Mishawaka Ave., Mishawaka, IN 46544. Arrangements are under the care of Goethals & Wells Funeral Home, Mishawaka. an online guest book is available at www.goethalswells.com. Published in South Bend Tribune on Jan. 13, 2019
