Georgene Bieganski Aug. 23, 1930 - Dec. 6, 2014 MISHAWAKA - Georgene passed away at 5:00 AM on Saturday at Golden Living Center-Fountainview. Georgene was born on August 23, 1930, in Mishawaka, to the late Achiel and Mary (Byl) VanBruaene and had been a lifelong resident of this area. Georgene was united in marriage to Leo Bieganski, who preceded her in death. Over the years her favorite pastime was playing cards for pennies with her nieces, Rosemary and Deloris, (and sometimes that included either Esther, Sylvia or Connie). She is survived by her brother, Maurice "Bud" VanBruaene; her sister, Darlene Kasznia; and her three sons and their wives, Ray (Sue) Bieganski, David (Barb) Bieganski and Michael (Lori) Bieganski. She is also survived by her seven grandchildren, Kara (Palmer), Marta (Harrison), Ben, Matt, Olivia, Lillian Bieganski, Kyle Bieganski-Szalai; and four great-grandchildren, Bray-den, Breslyn, Brynlee (Palmer) and Ailee (Harrison). She was also preceded in death by her daughter-in-law, Kelly, (Florkowski) Bieganski, and granddaughter, Nicol-ette Bieganski. Visitations and viewing will be on Thursday, December 11, from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at Hahn Funeral Home in Mishawaka. A memorial Mass will be held on Friday, December 12, at St. Bavo Catholic Church, Mishawaka, at 1:00 PM. Rev Barry England will officiate. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery, Mishawaka.
