SOUTH BEND - Irene Sobieralski, 74, passed away Saturday, May 4, 2013 in Memorial Hospital. Irene was born June 4, 1938 in South Bend to the late Vincent and Frances (Stajzbach) Kuspa. Irene is preceded in death by her son, Donald Sobieralski, Jr; brother, Victor Kuspa; sister, Virginia Sniadecki; brothers-in-law, Marion Trudzinski and Al Sniadecki; and ex-husband, Donald R. Sobieralski. Survivors include her daughters, Theresa Ann Sobieralski, Irene F. Anderson, and Angie (Kerry) Ring, all of South Bend; granddaughter, Karlee Allison Ring; grandson, Ethan Christopher Anderson; sisters, Dolores (John) Alexander of South Bend & Gertrude Trudzinski of South Bend; brothers, Joseph (Marilyn) Kuspa of Mishawaka, and Irvin (Verna) Kuspa of South Bend; many nieces and nephews and faithful dog, Buffy. Irene was employed for many years with the South Bend School Corporation; and she was a parishioner of Holy Family Catholic Church, where she enjoyed playing bingo. She was a big fan of Notre Dame and watched Days of Our Lives faithfully. Irene enjoyed playing Poker and going to the casino, and loved the Sci Fi Channel. Most of all she loved spending time with her family. Visitation for Irene will be 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm Wednesday, May 8, 2013 in ST. JOSEPH FUNERAL HOME, 824 S. Mayflower Rd. where a Rosary will be prayed at 4:30 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 am Thursday, May 9, 2013 in Holy Family Catholic Church. Burial will follow at St Joseph Cemetery. Memorial Contributions for Irene may be made to the family. Condolences for the family may be made at www.sjfh.net.
