Jack L. Albright, of South Bend, passed away on Saturday, November 26, 2022 at the age of 90. He was born in Niles, MI., on September 18, 1932 to the late Harold F. and Hazel (Pfiel) Albright. On September 6, 1952 in South Bend he was united in marriage to Martha Livengood who preceded him in death on September 25, 2022. They celebrated 70 years of marriage before her passing. He was employed for many years at Bendix Corporation as a factory worker. He was also a UAW representative for over 40 years. Jack also was a part time trouper for the St. Joseph County Sherriff’s department. The thing he was most proud of doing was being a devoted husband to Martha and father to their kids and grandchildren. Jack is survived by his sons, Ronald Albright of Carmel, IN., Richard (Vicki) Albright of South Bend, 6 grandchildren, Scott (Sarah), Shawn, Jennifer, Ryan, Jeff, Heather (Jason Wright) Albright, 6 great grandchildren, 2 great great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his brother, William Albright. A private family burial will take place at Sumption Prairie Cemetery in South Bend, IN. Palmer Funeral Home - Hickey Chapel is assisting the family with arrangements. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Jack’s honor to Majestic Care of South Bend, 52654 N.
