[N9978] As a side note, Walter Hartman and gotten in trouble with the law for fraud. I believe he even did prison time. He eventually married Helen Kuse (it was her 2nd marriage). He owned race horses, his most successful being Hot Issue. Hot Issue won several trophies and a blanket. After the trouble with the law, (he may have been wanted) he used the name William Vinnedge. A few years before his death he had it legally changed. He is buried in Warsaw, Illinois beside the Kuse family.
