The funeral of Mrs. Katherine Bolka (nee Niedbalska) aged 71 years in her home 1123 West Napier, last Sunday night was held from St Hedwige's Church, Tuesday morning at 10:00 a.m., Rev. Valentine Czyzewski officiating. Interment was at Cedar Grove Cemetery.

Mrs Bplka was born in Schubin, Germany (Szubin, PL) in 1841. She came to this country in 1872, resided in New York for six yearsand the rest of her life she spent in South Bend. Besides the husband (Joseph), she leaves three sons, William of Ohio, Joseph T and ThomasF of South Bend, two daughters Mrs. Anna Ogurkiewicz and Rosa Paquet, both of Chicago and three brothers Charles, Martin, John Niedbalski all of South Bend. Mrs Bolka was a member of the Holy Rosary Society.
