[N29259] Jerri LaDelle "Gert" Oesch
December 14, 1956 - July 26, 2021

Lakeville - Jerri LaDelle "Gert" Oesch, 64 years old, passed away Monday, July 26, 2021, at Memorial Hospital in South Bend around 4:45 a.m. Jerri was born December 14, 1956, in South Bend to the late Gerald F Baude and Shirley Ann Huff. Jerri lived most of her life in South Bend, Indiana. Along with her parents, Jerri is preceded in death by Gregory Baude, Sr. (November 12, 1953 - April 7, 2021) of Corona, California. Jerri is survived by her sister, Rose Baude of South Bend; brother Gary Baude of Front Royal; niece, Khalilah Belcher "Kiki" of South Bend; niece, Latonya "Tonnie" Imani Belcher of South Bend; nephew, Nick Farr of South Bend; nephew, Omar Belcher of South Bend; nephew, Robert Baude of Honolulu; niece, Ashley Baude of Moreno Valley ; nephew, Gregory Baude Jr.; nephew, Chris Baude of Santa Ana; former husband, Ronald Oesch of Lakeville; step-daughter, Mary "Nikki" Oesch of Mishawaka; step-son, Eric Oesch of South Bend; step-grandchildren, Dylan Parrott and Nathaniel Unger. Jerri leaves behind several other family members and loved ones. Unfortunately, Jerri was never able to have children of her own. She was gifted with her step-children Eric and Nikki Oesch shortly after their mother "Kathy" passed away in 1995. Jerri loved raising her grandson Dylan and spending time with him as her step-daughter Nikki battled addiction. Some of her favorite pastime was spent playing with her step-grandchild, Dylan Parrott in his younger years of life. Jerri and Dylan had so much fun together as Jerri was able to allow her "inner child" to play, she felt free to be herself. She loved managing Julio's Pizza - she was a natural at taking charge. Jerri enjoyed gardening, spending time outdoors, raising her german shepherds, caring for animals and people, cleaning, organizing, and was truly a hard worker. Jerri had an amazing imagination, a wonderful sense of humor, a warm laugh, and a beautiful smile that could light up a room. Jerri enjoyed Joyce Meyer and learning about God. Jerri spent multiple years of her life battling with addiction(s) that very well contributed to her "strained" relationships with family and friends. Jerri spent many years of her life with her former husband, Ronald Oesch, who she loved dearly. Ronald remained her closest friend, even till the very end. It broke our hearts to see you go, as she will be missed by many. God wanted her now-He set her free.
