BANGOR - Patricia J. Borsodi, 80, passed away Sunday, October 5, 2014, in her residence surrounded by her family. Patricia was born February 6, 1934, in South Bend, to the late Arthur and Georgia (Zellers) Johnson. Patricia married Charles Eugene Borsodi, Sr., who preceded her in death. Patricia was also preceded in death by a son, Charles Eugene Borsodi, Jr.; daughter, Kathy Borsodi; brother, Jack Johnson; and sisters, Margaret Rose Johnson and Judy Rhodes. Survivors of Patricia include her children, Jo Anna (David Letten) Borsodi of Bangor, MI, Patty (Alan) Rendell of South Bend, Judith (Ronald) Jones of Bremen, Marjorie (Michael) Hodgson of Mishawaka, Mark (Tracy) Borsodi of South Bend, and Kenneth (Deanna) Borsodi of Granger; brothers, Jim (Janice) Johnson of Edwardsburg and Arthur 'Junior' Johnson of Mishawaka; 22 grandchildren and 34 great-grandchildren. Patricia was employed with Memorial Hospital as a parking attendant. She was a life member of the VFW in Bremen. Patricia enjoyed sewing and baking. Most of all she enjoyed hosting Sunday breakfast for her family and grandchildren. Visitation for Patricia will be 5:00 pm to 7:30 pm, Thursday, October 9, 2014, in ST. JOSEPH FUNERAL HOME, 824 S. Mayflower Rd. A funeral service will begin at 7:30 pm. Burial will take place at Barnett Cemetery at a later date. The family would appreciate that in lieu of flowers donations be made to the funeral home to help with the cost of the service. Condolences for the family may be made at www.sjfh.net.
