Edward Jedrzejewski, 81 years old, passed away Thursday, May 26, 2022 in Glendale, Arizona. He was born January 23, 1941 in South Bend to the late Edward and Helen (Janowiak) Jedrzejewski. On September 7, 1963, Edward married the love of his life, Anna Lee Elkins, who preceded him in death in 2017. Edward is survived by his son, Edward A. (Barb) Jedrzejewski; daughter, Erin (Phillip) Higgins; granddaughters, Kelly Ann Jedrzejewski and Amanda Lee Higgins; and sisters, Rita Leszczynski, Susan Ray, and Helen Tryan. Along with his loving wife, Anna, and his parents, Edward is preceded in death by his daughter, Eva Ann Jedrzejewski; and his sister, Joann Machowiak. Edward lived most of his life in Indiana and graduated from New Carlisle High School. He worked as a machinist repair man in multiple automotive factories which eventually led them to move to California. He was very active in the Catholic church and loved spending time with his children working with their horses as well as other 4-H projects. After retirement, Edward and Anna Lee moved to Arizona. He enjoyed traveling and he had the gift of making friends wherever he went. Above all, he loved his family - especially spending time with his granddaughters. A Memorial Service will be held at 10:00am on Saturday, July 9, 2022 at St Joseph Funeral Home, 824 S. Mayflower Rd. Burial will immediately follow at St. Joseph Cemetery, South Bend. In lieu of flowers the family would appreciate donations to be made to the American Heart Association, . Condolences for the family may be made at www.sjfh.net.
