MISHAWAKA - Henrietta “Hank” Mary Dominiak, 99 passed away on Monday, February 27 at St. Vincent Medical Center in Jacksonville, Florida.Henrietta was born on October 8, 1917 in South Bend as the daughter of Robert and Anna (Jagodzinski) Iwaszewski. She was preceded in death by her parents and her siblings.
On May 23, 1942 in South Bend she married William G. Dominiak; he preceded her in death on August 13, 2003. Her daughter, Kathleen (Gene) Sego also preced ed her in death. Surviving is her son, William (Susan) G. Dominiak Jr. of Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida. She has four grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren. Hank was a lifetime area resident and was a member of St. Bavo Catholic Church in Mishawaka. Per Hank's wishes, there will be no public visitation. Burial will take place at Fairview Cemetery, Mishawaka where she will be laid to rest next to her husband. Hahn Funeral Home, Mishawaka has been entrusted with handling the final arrangements.
