SOUTH BEND - Frank T. Suski, 67, of South Bend, died peacefully at home surrounded by his family on Wednesday, April 13, 2011. The South Bend native was born October 31, 1943, to Stanley F. & Alice S. (Rybacki) Suski. Frank was the former owner for 35 years of F & S Construction and was currently employed as an Installer for Best Buy. Devoted to family, friends and the community, Frank played Santa each year at Denny's and also visited numerous homebound residents during the holiday season. He enjoyed woodworking, was meticulous about his lawn, and especially enjoyed opening their parking to Notre Dame fans during football season, welcoming his 'regulars' each home game. Frank married Sandra (Van Lue) on September 7, 1963, she survives along with his son, Frank T. (Angela) Suski, Jr. of Brownsburg; daughter, Sandra L. (Kaufman) Suski of South Bend, son, Stoney L. Suskin of Franklin; his grandchildren, James Kaufman, Jon Kaufman, Madison Parker, Chase Suski, Quinn Suski, great-grandson, Hayden Kaufman; brother, Stanley (Iva) Suski of Granger; sister, Betty (Paul) Winslow of Nappanee; brother, William Suski of Edwardsburg, MI, brother, Ralph (Diane) Suski of Lansing, IL, Anthony (Kaye) Suski of Elkhart; and sister, Mary Hanna of Granger. He was preceded in death by his parents and sisters, Irene Hess and Nancy Gambee and brothers, Danis 'Danny' Suski and Paul Suski. Funeral Services 7:00 pm Saturday April 16 at Chapel Hill Funeral Home, 10776 McKinley Hwy. Friends may call Saturday 5-7 pm at the funeral home. Private entombment in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
