Mrs. Mary Wieczorek, aged 66, died at 4:40 o'clock Friday afternoon in the
home of her son, Frank Wieczorek, 1217 West Sample street, after an illness
of four days. She was born in Poland July 4, 1870, but lived in South Bend
virtually all her life. On June 4, 1891, in St. Hewige's Roman Catholic
church, she was married to John Wieczorek, who survives. Also surviving is
her mother, Mrs. Anna Kiszka; two sons, Frank and Martin, all of South
Bend;
a daughter, Mrs. Hattie Witkowski, of Granger, this county; two brothers,
Andrew Kiszka, of South Bend, and Albert Kiszka, of South Chicago, Ill.,
and five grandchildren. The body may be viewed this evening at 1217 West
Sample street. The funeral will be held at 9 o'clock Tuesday morning from St.
Casimir's Roman Catholic church with Rev. Anthony J. Rozewicz, C.S.C.,
pastor, chanting the high requiem mass. Burial will be in Cedar Grove
cemetery. Mrs. Wieczorek was a member of Women's Holy Rosary and the
Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament societies of St. Casimir's church
